Databases
Below is a list of databases in Stevenson Library that you may wish to consult when conducting your research in Geology. Here you can find peer-reviewed academic journals, as well as trade and popular magazines.
Note: In order to access these databases from off campus, you will need to log on to the system. You can do this in one of two ways:
1) Click on the database name. In the window that pops up, enter the user name you use for checking email, followed by "@lhup.edu" Ex. jsmith@lhup.edu. Then, in the second box, enter your password as you normally would for email. OR
2) Click on the database name. In the window that pops up, enter the six digit ID# found on your student ID. Then, enter your last name in the second box.

- Academic Search Complete A scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 5,300 full-text periodicals, including 4,400 peer-reviewed journals.
- JSTOR This full-text database provides access to a large number of outstanding academic journals.
- Computers and Applied Sciences Complete Covers the research and development spectrum of the computing and applied sciences disciplines. indexing and abstracts for 1,300+ journals,and other reference sources. Full text for more than 500 periodicals.
- GEOBase Provides worldwide literature on geography, geology, and ecology. Note: Contact a librarian at Stevenson Library to access this database.
